OCI Identity Cloud Service (IDCS) - Resetting an IDCS Users Password to a Known Value via REST (Doc ID 2347511.1)

Purpose

Currently it is not possible within the IDCS Admin UI to manually set a password for another user to a known value. But, this is possible using the provided REST API calls. This document walks through such an example.

There is an Enhancement Request to add a UI option for password resets to a known value, this is filed in Bug 27309293.
