Symptoms

P6 Professional (all versions):
When attempting to access or open a document in P6 Professional, the following error occurs:

Error
The Document cannot be launched. Please check the P6 server configuration.


Steps to Reproduce
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into P6 Professional
  2. Open Project
  3. Activities tab
  4. In bottom view, choose WPs and Docs
  5. See the attached document.
  6. Click Details.
  7. Click Launch.
  8. Pop-up box states: The Document cannot be launched. Please check the P6 server configuration.
