Internal Error Attempting to View Documents or Adding Content Presenter Task Flows in Oracle WebCenter Portal Cloud Service (Doc ID 2381111.1)

Symptoms


When attempting to View Documents in a Portal or Add a Content Presenter,
the following error occurs.

ERROR

Internal Error
(WCS#2018.02.14.15.20.03)

STEPS


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Connect to WebCenter Portal Cloud Service Install.

  2. Create a Portal.

  3. Enable documents in the portal.

  4. Upload a document to the Document Page.

  5. Attempt to view the document by clicking the document name.
    This returns Internal Error.

  6. Add a content presenter task flow to a page.
    This also returns Internal Error.

  7. Connect to content server and confirm the folder for the portal was created in content server.

  8. Click on the document in content server downloads the file.
    Issue is only accessing the document from WebCenter Portal.


ERROR

The following error is observed in the WCPCloud_server_1.out file:
