Purpose

Instructions on how to validate a domain's ownership, that is used with your Responsys account, in order to satisfy the certificate authority's requirement before they issue a certificate.

Scope

 This document is for users purchasing a certificate for a Responsys account.  Usually the certificate authority will allow a few ways to validate this, but Responsys will NOT allow the "validation by CNAME" method.
