Goal

In EBS 11i, users are currently able to manually change the period status from never opened to future.
In Fusion, is there a way for a user to manually set a period that has never been opened to future? or is future status totally dependent on the ledger options setting "Number of Future Enterable Periods". In other words, is period status only set to future when a target period is opened?
