Oracle Fusion Learning Cloud: Restrict Learning Specialists From Adding Learners That Are Not Part of Their Business Unit/Legal Entity (Doc ID 2389130.1)

Last updated on MARCH 01, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Learning Management Cloud Service - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

The Learning Specialist user has been granted a data role, which restricts the user based on the Business Unit.  The data role which has been granted to the Learning Specialist user is secured by 'Area of Responsibility'. The Learning Specialist has been allocated an Area of Responsibility for that one business unit.

When the Learning Specialist looks for learners to add to a course, they can still see learners from different Business Units (not just the one that they have 'Area of Responsibility' for).
