Need e-mail notification in case of any failures in generating Receipt confirmation file WMS

How do we get an e-mail notification in case of any failures in generating Receipt confirmation file from WMS cloud.

We see the flag 'Send Failure Email' in the OUTPUT INTERFACE CONFIGURATION --> OUTPUT INTERFACE TARGET. What purpose does this flag serve? Will it help in this case? If Yes, how?

Please advise.
 
Also, INTF_ERROR_EMAIL_LIST will also list down errors related to Input interfaces right? The customer doesn't want to be informed on input interface failures...wants only failure mails for outbound. Please advise considering this case.
