Name Field To Be Read-only When Modifying An Existing Contact For Benefits

Goal
We want to make the name fields read-only when modifying contacts under Benefits (About Me > Benefits, click Change Benefit Elections, click existing contact). However, when we set the field to read-only in the page for modifying contact through page composer the field was also set to read-only when creating new contact.
Kindly advise how can we limit the read-only property to only the page for modifying existing contacts.
