Last updated on APRIL 02, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Transportation Management Cloud Service - Version 19.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

**IMPORTANT: These instruction applies to clients on legacy Oracle Public Cloud (OPC).  For clients hosted on the newer Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), refer to  How to Configure Email in OTM/GTM Cloud OCI Gen2 to Use Your Custom Email Sender <Note 2904314.1> and Cloud Admin Guide -> Latest documentation -> Books -> Admin Guide -> Overview of the Email Deliver Service

It is required to configure outbound notifications with a valid sender email address with a valid email domain.

This email address must resolve to a valid DNS. Your email server must accept bounceback and rejected messages from Oracle Public Cloud.

How do you ensure that your company email servers will not reject these emails and that Oracle Public Cloud will not block your email traffic?
