PPM: How to setup Automatic Award Numbering (Doc ID 2443123.1)

Goal

Automatic Award numbering
We are trying to change Award numbering to Automatic (Numeric). We accessed Manage Document Sequences task and configured award numbering to automatic. Despite that I see that while creating award it ask for award number.
Can you please advise on how to achieve the same?
