How TAXABLE_FLAG is used in Autoinvoice ? (Doc ID 2450960.1)

In customer current setup , users are populating the same set of tax fields as specified in How to Import Receivables Invoice with Tax Line (Doc ID 2409456.1) and and it is working but user needs to understand:

1) What is the significance of Taxable_Flag column in FBDI ?

2)  Whether Taxable_Flag column can be used within RA_INTERFACE_LINES_ALL sheet of FBDI file
 If Yes, are there any additional columns to be populated on the sheet? Please specify.

a. Our understanding is that when the Taxable_Flag = Y then Oracle will calculate the tax amount,

b.  if taxable_ flag = null, it is assumed as =Y
 Can you please confirm that?
