IDCS: EBS 12.1.3 with IDCS Asserter Logout Page Results In Internal Server Error 500 in EBS (Doc ID 2452115.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to Click Logout in EBS Application,
the following error occurs in EBS Apache Logs.

ERROR IN APACHE LOGS:

[Tue Aug 7 09:54:30 2018] [error] [client Client_IP] [ecid: 1533632070:10.85.165.240:1046:0:452,0] mod_oc4j: Response status=470 and reason=Oracle SSO, but failed to get mod_osso global context.
[Tue Aug 7 09:54:30 2018] [error] [client Client_IP] [ecid: 1533632070:10.85.165.240:1046:0:452,0] mod_oc4j: request to OC4J prpae01.domain:21510 failed: unknown
[Tue Aug 7 09:54:31 2018] [error] mod_ossl: SSL call to NZ function nzos_Handshake failed with error 28864 (server load_balancer.domain:PORT, client Client_IP)
[Tue Aug 7 09:54:31 2018] [error] mod_ossl: SSL IO error [Hint: the client stop the connection unexpectedly]


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. EBS System with IDCS Asserter Integrated.
2. Login with IDCS Authentication to EBS Application. Login is successful. 
3. Click Logout Link in EBS Application
4. Error 500 occurs in Browser - "Internal Server Error"

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, EBS is not able to integrate with IDCS to provide logout functionality.

 EBS Application is integrated with IDCS Asserter.
