Symptoms

When attempting to create a Category within the Procurement Functional Area Catalog, the following error occurs:

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Setup and Maintenance -> search and open the task Manage Functional Area Catalogs

OR

Navigate to Product Management -> Product Information Management -> Search for the Task: Manage Catalogs from the right panel   

2. Select any catalog (ex - Procurement functional area catalog) and open it for editing
3. Select Create Category ('+') symbol
4. Enter Category Name, Category Code, Description, Start Date and select Ok
