How to Connect to External POP3 Server to Read Emails? (Doc ID 2462808.1)

Goal

Application deployed on JCS-SX is using JavaMail API to connect to external POP3 server to get emails. As per JavaMail Github, support for connecting through web proxy servers ( Oracle Cloud Proxy) started from 1.6.x version. But JCS-SX version is 1.4. Is it possible to upgrade the JavaMail version in JCS-SX?
