Intermittent Access and Object Sharing Issues Occuring After Upgrading to Rel13 or After an On-Premise Installation Moved to Cloud (Doc ID 2463887.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 27, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Social Network Cloud Service - Version 11.13.18.05.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After an upgrade to Rel 13, or for PODs which have been migrated to the cloud from an on-premise install, actions which require LDAP verification to complete the action will fail with errors.  For upgraded PODs, the errors may be intermittent.  For migrated PODs, the errors occur always.

For instance:

1) The errors  "JBO-FND:::fnd_osn_connection_error" and/or  "The context is not valid. Please contact administrator" will present when attempting to Enable Fusion Application Objects with OSN, even after all pre-requisites are met and other known issues are eliminated as shown in Document 2102189.1, Document 2026063.1, Document 1987844.1, and Document 2106840.1.

2) When attempting to log in to OSN or to start and/or join a conversation from a social object users are presented with "Access Denied" errors

Changes

"Upgrade and Scale Out of Instances" occurred along with the Rel13 upgrade

or
