In The Data Management (DM) Module, Your New Import Format Is Not Displayed, And An Error Occurs If You Create It Again: "Name already exists" (Doc ID 2467863.1)

Symptoms

You've successfully created and saved a new Import Format within DM.  You then navigate elsewhere (e.g., the Workflow tab), then you switch back to the Import Format dialog. Your new import format is no longer listed in the Import Format Summary section.

If you attempt to re-create the import format using the same name, an error appears: "Name already exists".
