When attempting to post an intercompany journal having multiple lines with different BSV in the same journal, Intercompany balancing lines are not generated and the posting process ends in error.
The expectation is that the application creates balancing rules automatically based on Primary Segment Balancing rules between each BSV.
The journal status ends in Error - Unable to generate intercompany balancing
A default rule isn't defined for the chart of accounts level or ledger level to handle the many to many journal.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Define ONLY Primary Intercompany balancing rules, but not rule From BSV 'All Other' to BSV 'All Other' (NO Chart of Accounts COA balancing rule).
2. Create a Journal that uses multiple BSV liked to different Legal Entities.
3. Post the Journal
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot post successfully IC journals using multiple BSV and they need to split the journal between BSV in order to post successfully.
