DIPC 18.4.3 Table Data and Attributes Throw "Unknown Host Specified Error" and GoldenGate Refresh Task for On-Premise Oracle 11gR2 Fails With ORA-12154 (Doc ID 2491434.1)

Data Integration Platform Cloud (DIPC) version 18.4.3 on OCI is being used for Oracle GoldenGate (OGG) Replication from an on-premise Oracle Database 11.2.0.4 instance to another on-premise Oracle Database 11.2.0.4 instance.

The below steps were performed successfully.

1. Created the remote agent and registered the remote agent to OCI DIPC Server.

2. Then created the connection to On-premise Oracle 11.2.0.4 database and can refresh the data entity.

But when trying to get the table’s data and attributes, it fails with the error:

Unable to connect to the database. IO Error: Unknown host specified Check the connection details for the data entity. See the the connection URL, username and password.

While trying to create the GoldenGate Replicate task , it fails with the error:

ERROR OGGMON-20606 Exception thrown while executing GGSCI command dblogin useridalias <GG_USERID_ALIAS>, ERROR: OCI Error ORA (status = 12154-ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified
