Symptoms

Getting Beneficiary exceeds 100% error when trying to backout Open or any other life event

We are getting an error when trying to backout any life event including Open for 1 employee:


ERROR
-----------------------
The message is ORA-20001: The total percentage specified for this beneficiary type exceeds 100 percent. Details: The sum of all of the participant's beneficiary designations for this plan must equal 100 percent. ORA-06512: at "FUSION_BACK_OUT_LIFE_EVENT", line 2459 ORA-06512: at line 1.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Back out Event for employee
2. Error is thrown
