IDCS/EBS Integration with EBS Asserter, EBS Forms Timeout Causes: cannot Create EBS User Session Error (Doc ID 2504194.1)

Symptoms

With EBS 12.1.3 and the EBS Asserter version 19.1.4-1.2.2*

 
In EBS/IDCS Integrated environment using EBS Asserter, EBS forms timeout causes an error: "cannot create EBS user session error"


ERROR

"Your log on session is no longer valid. Would you like to log back in so you can continues working? If you do no log in, any outstanding data changes in your forms will not be saved"


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. When running EBS forms, hit the ICX: Session Timeout

2. Forms pops up a Decision box that says: "Your log on session is no longer valid. Would you like to log back in so you can continues working? If you do no log in, any outstanding data changes in your forms will not be saved".

3. If you select Yes, another tab opens up in your browser that shows the error: "Cannot create EBS user session". If you got back to forms, your session is lost."
