On : 11.13.19.01.0 version, Financial Reporting and Analysis

Unable to publish account hierarchy after updating CoA value set value description

After updating the description for a value in the account segment of the chart of accounts, user is no longer able to publish chart of accounts hierarchy via the Publish Chart of Account Dimension Members and Hierarchies to Balances Cubes and Update Chart of Accounts Dimension Members and Hierarchies processes.

Both processes ended in error and returned similar error logs.

The most relevant part of the Publish Chart of Account Dimension Members error log:
"validate_dimmemberalias_naming --> Start Time 2019-02-28 17:59:14.214257

IN Clause for Skipping values: 'EXP','ALL'

The most relevant part of the Publish Chart of Account Dimension Members error log:
"updateCOADimensions: Publish function failed for coa: Actuals :: Error: Cannot incremental build. Essbase Error(1007083): Dimension build failed. Error code [1090003]. Check the server log file and the dimension build error file for possible additional info.
