SSO: Error 6/"SAML Decryption" Error After A New Taleo Certificate Installed In Customer's Identity Provider (Doc ID 2514136.1)

Symptoms

After customer installed/imported a new Taleo SP certificate into their Identity Provider (IdP), the SSO access failed with Error Reason 6.  Internal Taleo SSO logs show the following error: 

 

Changes

The Taleo-generated certificate (SP certificate) was changed in the Taleo SSO configuration.

After this change the customer downloaded the certificate and loaded it into their IdP.
