Goal
In a Data Integration Platform Cloud (DIPC) environment, the database is in the cloud and not exposed externally. This means that it can only be directly accessed from within the cloud network. To build an integration that uses this database, the DIPC remote agent is installed on a cloud server where the connection can be made. However, Oracle Cloud Instance (OCI) does not have a link between DIPC and the Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Studio running on the local on-premise desktop.
