Goal: To reduce the number of emails that a learner receives, when they have been assigned voluntary learning and they choose to withdraw from that learning. For example:
The learner is assigned some voluntary learning which they do not wish to participate in. The learner logs in and does the following:
- Goes to Home/Me/Learning
- Clicks on "Current Learning"
- Clicks on Voluntary learning link
- Sees the learning which has been assigned/clicks on it
- When it opens, from the top menu, uses Actions/Withdraw/"Withdraw from Test Course 2019""
If the default 'out of the box' approval rule is used, the learner receives the following 3 emails, after choosing to withdraw.
FYI: Withdrawal Request for Learning Assignment on <OfferingName> for Learner <learnerName> is Submitted for Approval
Approved: Learning Assignment Withdrawal Request for <OfferingName>t for Learner <learnerName> Requires Approval
FYI: Withdrawal Request from Learning Assignment on <OfferingName> for Learner <learnerName> is Approved
The goal is to reduce the number of emails that are received.
