ADBridge Installation Fails with "Setup Failed" at 98% complete (Doc ID 2542061.1)

Symptoms


The IDCS AD Bridge application installation makes it to 98%, then fails with "Setup Failed".

The last entry in the Identity_Cloud_Service_Microsoft_Active_Directory_Bridge_<time stamp>_Internal.log file is

"DEBUG IDBridge - Loading Identity Source <specific AD source>"

 

Changes

Previous working ADBridge had been set to deactivated state in IDCS Admin Console.

The anticipated goal was to recreate a new ADBridge prior to deleting the previous ADBridge.
