How To Update The Postal Code to Null for Customer Address (Doc ID 2544261.1)

We are unable to update the customer address to set the postal code to null

The customer address originally uploaded had details with regard to Address Line 1 , 2 and postal code . We use the FBDI Template to update the location and set the postal code to null, but the postal code from the previous original record uploaded is not substituted and is still remaining the same. How to rectify it?
