Non-Workflow Portal Enabled BP Record Returned to Report but Not Found in the User Interface (Doc ID 2550980.1)

On Unifier : Version 18.8.3

For any newly created Portal enabled non-workflow type Business Process (BP) record, when the user triggers a 'Copy With Attachment' and clicks on the 'Close' button instead of clicking on the 'Submit' button:

Expected Result

Because the Record Number is getting populated the user expects the record to be found in the BP Log in the user interface, and a report ran against the BP should return data that matches the records found in the user interface.

Actual Result

The newly created record is no found in the business process log but the report returns data for the record.
