SmartView HsGetValue function not working for Parent Node
We are using the HsGetValue function in SmartView, Its working fine for the Child node, but we are getting error for the immediate parent node.
- One formula = HsGetValue("Essbase_FA_Cluster_XXAGGLAFFINSTANCE_db","Scenario#"&G$1&"","Balance Amount#"&G$2&"","Amount Type#"&G$3&"","Currency#"&G$4&"","Currency Type#"&G$5&"","AccountingPeriod#"&G$6&"","Intercompany#"&$B$3&"","Subaccount#"&$B$4&"","Project#"&$B$5&"","Product#"&$B$6&"","Sourcing Channel#"&$B$7&"","Purchase Country#"&$B$8&"","Sales Channel#"&$B$9&"","Selling Country#"&$B$10&"","Reserve1#"&$B$11&"","Reserve2#"&$B$12&"","Ledger#"&$B$13&"","Company#"&$A20&"","Cost Center#"&$B20&"","Account#"&$C20&"")
A quick explanation on how I build the formula :
- so the first step is to indicate the connection needed "Essbase_FA_Cluster_XXAGGLAFFINSTANCE_db"
- Then you have to map the smartview query' dimesions to the dimension you want to use : Scenario is the smartview query dimension et G1 represent "Actuals"
Error : Cannot query members by specs. Essbase Error(1200618): Unable to resolve duplicate member name ["**Parent Value**"] on line [1]
See the attached documents of the Cost Center Hierarchy and screenshot of the error.
