Fusion Global Payroll : Getting Multiple Records For Same Assignment (Doc ID 2582062.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 13, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Global Payroll Cloud Service - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

The requirement for "Changes Only" extract is the DBI item which is defined as "threading database item" should be unique in the extract output. If it is not then the changes_only functionality will not work as expected.

The internal query for the UE 'PER_EXT_SEC_ASSIGNMENT_NOW_FUTURE_UE' is :

PER_ALL_ASSIGNMENTS_M asg, pay_payroll_assignments ppa where asg.assignment_id = ppa.hr_assignment_id(+)

In the above query there is no condition defined on effective_start_date and effective_end_date. So the output will have date track records of same assignment_id. As a result, changes_only behavior will output duplicate records. So, you have to design the extract and add filters at root block level so that assignment_id will be unique in output.
