On : 11.13.19.04.0 version, Opportunities

Owner Search Field Inconsistent

On the advanced search for all of the objects, the Owner field is inconsistent. On Opportunities & Contacts, the field is a text field, but on all other objects, the field is a dynamic choice list field. Is there a way to keep all of the searches consistent and have all Owner fields dynamic choice lists when used for searches?
