Why Receipts From August 2019 went into September 2019 While GL Periods for August Still Open ? (Doc ID 2588169.1)

Receipt Accounting Problem:
All of the receipts from August 16, 2019 through the rest of the month went into September accounting instead of August accounting Period.
User did not close the GL Periods for either August or September.

Due to this issue. All entries should have gone to August.
