Symptoms

When attempting to pass multiple comma separated person numbers in single parameter of HCM extract, the following error occurs.

ERROR

"A system error ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small
ORA-06512: at "FUSION.PAY_REPORT_PROCESS", line 1554"


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. When passing 3 -4 input values HCM extract is giving the expected result

2. But when passing 60-70 person numbers, the below error occurs:

"A system error ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small
ORA-06512: at "FUSION.PAY_REPORT_PROCESS", line 1554"
