Transit Time Consideration When Setup Is Using Zones
(Doc ID 2590004.1)
Last updated on OCTOBER 15, 2020
Applies to:
Oracle Fusion Global Order Promising Cloud Service - Version 11.13.19.07.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Can you help us to understand the behavior of Zones added in transit time setup when promising orders?
Business scenario:
Transit time setup between Internal location (Org) and Zone.
Zone created as per city (Cities in Japan)
The zone setup is eventually driven by Geography setup and if we're setting up for e.g. Tokyo as a city, and also create a zone for 'Tokyo', how would GOP map this zone when promising orders? Would it take the City which is given in 'Customer Ship to address' and then map it to the zone setup in transit lead time, and take it's respective time?
