Generic SCIM App In IDCS Is Not Working For Update Operation On User Identity (User LifeCycle Management) (Doc ID 2591227.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 30, 2024

Applies to:

Identity Cloud Service (IDCS) - Version N/A and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The setup is between SCIM and two IDCS instances using Generic SCIM application template from App Catalog.

When the deactivation of user is done in IDCS source application as below, user gets deactivated in Target (IDCS) application.
Admin console --> Applications --> Generic SCIM Application --> Users --> select user Deactivate

If in the Source IDCS  below action are performed, still user's target account remains in activated status (with slight change in disable icon) in source IDCS adminConsole.
adminConsole --> Users --> select user and deactivate here

Requirement is to have a complete User Life cycle Management.
The users would be synced using ID Bridge from AD.
Once user's identity status is being acted upon, expectation is to have it propagate to destination target account status via SCIM Generic application.
