Goal

Why is the script not working to Auto-populate Primary Contact on Activity?

When we go to create an activity for a Lead or a Opportunity, the groovy script is expected to auto-populate the Primary Contact on the activity based on the Primary Contact on the Lead or Opportunity. However, it gives an issue where after the initial create, it does not populate. What could be the cause?
