Fusion HR : Unable To Run ESS Job 'Generate Data Security Grants' for Employee Role (ORA_PER_EMPLOYEE_ABSTRACT) (Doc ID 2604980.1)

Symptoms

While regenerating the Data Security Grants for the abstract role Employee, the PER_EMPLOYEE_ABSTRACT role is being regenerated and not for ORA_PER_EMPLOYEE_ABSTRACT. I need to perform the same for the ORA_PER_EMPLOYEE_ABSTRACT role.

Following are the steps being performed.

1. Navigate to Scheduled Process
2. Schedule New Process
3. Select the process name as Regenerate Data Security Grants
4. Mode - Named Abstract Role
5. The abstract Role Name drop down has employee and when run, it is executed for PER_EMPLOYEE_ABSTRACT role and not ORA_PER_EMPLOYEE_ABSTRACT

Changes

From Rel12, Seeded Employee role is defined with role code 'ORA_PER_EMPLOYEE_ABSTRACT', and prior to that it was defined with role code 'PER_EMPLOYEE_ABSTRACT'. So on the Rel13 upgraded pods, we will see both 'PER_EMPLOYEE_ABSTRACT' & 'ORA_PER_EMPLOYEE_ABSTRACT' Role code entries for Employee role.
