Smart View Refresh on a Financial Reporting (FR) Report Returns an Error in Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS): "No Pages Updated" (Doc ID 2605257.1)

Symptoms

A very large FR report takes several minutes to render completely in HTML or PDF.  When performing a Smart View refresh on this report (fully-formatted) in Microsoft Excel, an error is returned both on screen and in the Smart View log file: "No pages updated".  The impacted client machine is connecting via internal company network.  Another client machine that connects via VPN (and has the appropriate timeout settings in its system registry) has no issue performing Smart View Refresh on the same report.

Changes

The following time-out settings have been added to client machine's system registry.

ReceiveTimeout = 900000

KeepAliveTimeout = 900000

ServerInfoTimeout = 900000
