Application Role Sync Not Working, when adding roles like Application Implementation Consultant we can't see the Setup and Maintenance tile?

Qn1:On : N/A version, Set Up Enterprise Structures-Manage Business Units
Application Role Sync not working
When adding roles, the functions they should inherit aren't appearing in the application.
Why when adding roles like Application Implementation Consultant we can't see the Setup and Maintenance button in the top right ?
Or for the General Accounting Manager role we can't see General Accounting Dashboard, Journals or Period Close area ?
