Last updated on AUGUST 05, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Transportation Management Cloud Service - Version 19 and later
Oracle Transportation Management - Version 6.2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In custom tracking event workbench, when you edit an actual arrival or departure date field the UTC timezone is shown as default.

You need to show the timezone of user preference.

Steps to replicate:

User Preference Timezone is Eastern Standard Time (America/New_York)

1) Create screenset by Copying PUBLIC Shipment Stop screenset
Change Actual Arrival and Actual Departure on Results tab to be editable

2) Create Workbench with Master table Buy Shipment and Detail table Shipment Stop using this screenset

3) Navigate to Config and Admin -> User Config -> Workbench Designer
From Layout dropdown select this screenset
Search for a shipment, then select the shipment and do an inline edit of the shipment stop.

See that the time is in UTC, not in the Shipment Stop timezone. And the popup dialog for date defaults to UTC
