Goal

Qn1:The Payables Standard Invoice Import FBDI Template includes a column with name 'URL Attachment', with this note: Invoice attachments with the type of URL.The URL attachment must begin with HTTP. URL attachments that begin with any other value will be ignored and the invoice will be imported.
No explanation exist in the Implementation or User Guides about it, the only document found was Doc ID 1940394.1 created since 30-Oct-2014. By reading the document, we have the following questions:
- By using this option will the invoice image (pdf or TIFF format) be really imported and attached to the Invoice?
- The scanned images of the invoices are stored in a document server, and Customer would need storing about five thousand of invoices every month. What would be the best solution to create and maintain a document server for the Customer?
- Please explain how the user would get the URL and copy it to the template.
Thank you,
