Last updated on JULY 26, 2021

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

This document provides the Steps you would need to perform to get Remote Data Gateway Working in your OAC-Classic Instance IF your instance was created in 105.2 or Lower Release and Subsequently patched to 105.4.

A method to verify if RDG is enabled on an OAC instance is to check the following URLs:

https://xxxxxxx.region.oraclecloud.com/rdc/api/v1/query?verify
https://xxxxxxx.region.oraclecloud.com/public/rdc/api/v1/query?verify

Note:
401-Unauthorized is the expected correct behavior -
New Instances with RDG enabled should show 401-Unauthorized
Old/Upgraded instance will show 404-Not Found ==> Follow steps in this doc if you receive a 404-Not Found Error

Note: This Doc is Applicable to Customer Managed OAC-Classic. If you are using Oracle Managed OAC, please follow guidelines in "Guidance For Using Remote Data Gateway (RDG) on Environments Upgraded From Oracle Analytics Cloud 105.2 and Lower (Doc ID 2574387.1)"
