Information in this document applies to any platform.

Purpose

It is necessary for the Email related settings to be properly configured to avoid possible delays in delivery or failure of delivery

Emails are generated by the application and may be sent from the application to end users within your corporate network, and to candidates, both internal and external.
Configuration of the SENDER, FROM and REPLY TO and ESHARE addresses for correspondence generated by the application is generally done during a new client's implementation phase and by submitting a request to Oracle Support.

Ideally, to ensure successful email delivery, the domain name @invalidemail.com in the From Address or Sender Email Address company settings should not be changed.

This document outlines the necessary configuration when using a custom email domain rather than the default value [@]invalidemail.com

Scope

A System Administrator along with their network IT team will be involved in setting up the proper configuration

The information covered in this Knowledge Topic applies to any email address setting that was delivered with the default domain value of [@] invalidemail.com which has since been updated to reflect a custom domain (email address)

This includes any of the following settings:

Configuration > Taleo Recruiting Settings > eShare Reply to Email Address

Configuration > Taleo Recruiting Settings > Sender Email Address

Configuration > Taleo Recruiting Settings > From Address

Configuration > Onboarding (Transitions) Settings > From Address

Configuration > Taleo Recruiting Settings > Email Reply Address
