BI Publisher Report Doesn't Show Content From UCM Server When Using A Custom Data Source (Doc ID 2637887.1)

Symptoms

BI Publisher report using a custom data source in a data set to show attachments from the UCM server runs without error but the report output doesn't show the attachment. No errors are seen in the report but the the bipublisher.log shows the following error for the user
