Symptoms

Additional accounting entries are seen Review Accounting Distributions
for receipts of purchase orders. Following are accounting entries
generated.

Line Class Debit Credit

1 Purchase price variance 135.00
2 Inventory valuation 90.00
3 Receiving inspection 90.00
4 Receiving inspection 135.00
5 Purchase price variance 90.00
6 Receiving inspection 90.00


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Expect the following accounting entries.

Line Class Debit Credit

1 Purchase price variance 45.00
2 Inventory valuation 90.00
4 Receiving inspection 135.00


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Created and approved PO with price greater than standard cost
2. Received and delivered PO Receipt
3. Navigate to Supply Chain Execution > Receipt Accounting
4. Tasklist > Create Receipt Distributions
5. Navigate to Supply Chain Execution > Cost Accounting
6. Tasklist > Create Cost Accounting Distributions
7. Search for cost org and cost book.
8. Set the cut off date.
9. Click on Scheduled Process > Click Submit on "Create Cost Accounting Distributions" job
10. Run the Create Accounting for both 'Receipt Accounting' and 'Cost Accounting'
11. See that additional accounting 'Receiving inspection' and 'Purchase price variance'
