The Sales Order Form Status Not Update After Backorder

Information in this document applies to any platform.
The order management screen and manage shipment lines screen are showing different status after a backorder process. The sales order form shows a status of "Awaiting Shipping" whereas it is reflecting a status of "Backordered" on the Manage Shipment Lines form.
The expectation is for the sales orders form to show a status of "Backordered" to match with the manage shipment lines.
