Email Type Is Not Getting Defaulted to Work on Contact

Goal
The default email type field when creating a contact is blank, while the default value for adding a secondary email address is 'Work'.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a Contact
- On the create Page enter mandatory columns and update Contact Email Field
- Click save and continue
- Open All Email Field on the Profile page , Type is Blank.
- Add an Email from All Emails Field - Type is defaulted to work.
