Migration Center Incorrectly Compares Sites after Granular Migration (Doc ID 2646116.1)

Symptoms

After a granular migration, the migration center may not show differences between sites correctly. There are several cases where this is observed:

1. After a granular migration from site 1 to site 2 of a commerce process or product family, even if there is no actual difference for the migrated entity, CPQ shows a difference in in the migration center.
2. After a full migration, if the entity is manually deployed on either of the two sites, CPQ shows a difference in the migration center even if there is no difference.
3. After a granular migration with changes from site 1 to site 2, when comparing site 2 with site 3, no difference is shown, even though the differences between site 2 and 3 can be seen in the admin UI.
