Information in this document applies to any platform.
Services based on Oracle Database Exadata Cloud Service (ExaCS) releases in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) will generally track the de-support dates of the same releases on-premises, unless noted otherwise. Use the table below to plan your implementations and upgrades accordingly. Once a release is not supported, no more patches (including security patches) will be generated for it, and new instance provisioning will be disabled.
This document is for database/cloud administrators and other staff who need to plan data management service upgrades and implementations, or software vendors who must plan on availability of particular ExaCS releases in the Oracle Cloud.
