Symptoms

On : 11.13.20.01.0 version, Manage Invoices-Audit Invoices

When attempting to Multi Period Accounting, the following error occurs.

ERROR

>> xlafrm_numglperiods() 01-FEB-2021
XLA_AP_FATAL_ERROR! Module: xlafrm_find_period, Problem: date is not in any accounting period
Incident creation failed because of this error: .

End date 01-FEB-21 used in formula PRORATE_PERIODS_INVOICES is not in any accounting period.
The accounting engine cannot complete due to a system error. Contact your help desk. (MODULE=xlafrm_numglperiods) (PROBLEM=End date 01-FEB-21 used in formula PRORATE_PERIODS_INVOICES is not in any accounting period.)


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run Multi Period Accounting
2. Check Report Status
3. Report ends in error

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot run the process as requested for one invoice.
