Is it possible to create consistency snapshots from a running VM?

Will the following command work?

# virsh snapshot-create-as --domain <DOMAIN> --name <SNAPSHOT_NAME> --disk-only --diskspec hda,snapshot=external --diskspec sda,snapshot=no
